Accessibility Statement

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to all and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.

We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines provide guidance on how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us provide a site that is accessible to all people, from the blind to the motor impaired.

Guidelines

We will utilize all commercially available technology and staff will make all reasonable efforts to ensure its website (s) is accessible to all persons, including those with disabilities; and in support of this objective it will follow and strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as released and updated by W3C.

We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that our policies, practices and procedures governing the provision of our services to persons with disabilities are consistent with the following principles:

  1. Services are provided in a way that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities.
  2. Persons with disabilities are able to benefit from the same services, in the same place and in a similar way as other staff or visitors; and
  • Persons with disabilities have opportunities equal to others to obtain, use and benefit from our services.

Definitions

For the purposes of this policy: “Disability” means any degree of physical disability, infirmity, malformation or disfigurement that is caused by bodily injury, birth defect or illness and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes any degree of lack of physical co‐ordination, blindness or visual impediment, deafness or hearing impediment, muteness or speech impediment.

Applies to

This policy applies to our website and the presentation of products and services available to the public. The policy applies to all, but specifically to staff who are responsible for the function and content of the website and for those providing services to customers.

Considerations to persons with Disabilities

We are committed to providing a positive user experience to all visitors, including persons with disabilities, and will carry out our duties and responsibilities in the same fashion except that when communicating with persons with disabilities all staff are expected to take into account their disability and take any extra effort necessary to assure their experience is positive and provide any accommodation necessary to ensure they have full access to products and services.

Training

The company will use qualified third party providers or train persons responsible for the function and content of the website in methods and practices necessary to make our site and services available to people with disabilities. Such training will be on an ongoing basis and be updated when changes are made to policies, practices and procedures governing the provision of services to persons with disabilities.

Feedback

The company will  welcome feedback regarding the methods we use to provide services to persons with disabilities and are encouraged to always make that feedback known to management to help assure we are meeting our stated goal of accessibility.
